Abstract

The decline of speech culture has implications for the lack of ability of adolescents to express ideas, ideas including also lack of manners in speaking (communicating), with this problem the Community Service Program Proposing Team (Pengmas) carries out activities aimed at increasing the knowledge of adolescents about effective social communication skills, so that they can be applied in daily life, and there are changes in behavior in communicating.   The motto of the activity is carried out by means of lectures, the material presented is effective communication and using Youtube media to display examples of effective communication in daily life, after the activity is carried out evalution by means of random interviews with the participants, there is an increase in knowledge about effective communication participants.
