Sosialisasi Pengolahan Limbah Kotoran Kandang Sapi menjadi Kompos

Abstract

Pagerjurang Hamlet is in the village of Giriharjo, Kepuharjo Village, Cangkringan District, Sleman Regency. Dusun Pagerjurang has a farming and livestock unit called the Janoko Farmer's Group, most of whose members raise dairy and fattening cattle with a total of around 2-5 heads per person. However, this sewage waste cannot be utilized by the group, resulting in a buildup of dirt which causes the environment to become dirty. The purpose of this activity is to provide information to the group regarding the processing of cow dung waste so that it can be utilized by the group and does not pollute the environment. The method used in this service is in the form of lectures and discussions (questions and answers). The results of the service show that the group likes the activity very much. This is shown from the enthusiasm of the participants in this activity which was not only attended by farmer groups, but also the participation of farmer women's groups.
