Abstract

Socialization activities and training on aromatherapy candle making which aims to provide new skills related to the possibilities of businesses that can be carried out by PKK women. This program has the potential to increase family income and reduce household waste produced in Morobakung village so that it has added value and economic value. The methods carried out in this activity are socialization about making aromatherapy candles, socialization of the benefits of aromatherapy candles, and the use of cooking oil waste that can be used as the main ingredient for making aromatherapy candles. The results of this activity showed the high enthusiasm of the participants who succeeded in producing aromatherapy candles independently. In addition to providing new skills that have the potential to be a source of income, this program also contributes to increasing environmental awareness by utilizing waste into products of economic value. Thus, this activity is expected to have a sustainable positive impact, both in terms of economy and environment for the community.
