Pengenalan Literasi Keuangan Melalui Game-Based Learning Pada Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Lebakwangi 01
Abstract
Financial literacy education for children does not only cover the introduction of money but also wise financial investment and being able to control financial spending. The game-based learning approach is an effective and innovative method in introducing the concept of financial literacy to elementary school students and The monopoly game was chosen as an educational media. This community service activity was carried out for all 4th grade elementary school students. This activity aims to introduce basic financial concepts to elementary school students in an interesting and interactive way. Overall, this community service activity succeeded in achieving its main objective, namely to improve students' understanding of financial literacy through learning methods that are appropriate for their age. The application of game-based learning using Monopoly to introduce financial literacy gave positive results. Students gained an initial understanding of the basic concepts of financial literacy.
