Campur Kode pada Dialog Penjual dan Pembeli di Desa Wisata Penglipuran
Abstract
This study focuses on the use of code mixing in the interactions between sellers and buyers in traditional stalls. Dialogue data between sellers and buyers at traditional stalls with the target of stalls that provide a variety of Balinese specialties, drinks and souvenirs, considering the very high number of buyer visits, located in Penglipuran Village, Bangli district, because it is a destination that is in great demand by local and foreign tourists. The observation method uses data collection techniques by listening, taking notes and recording natural interactions. This qualitative research describes the use of code mixing in every interaction in a traditional stall. The data obtained were analyzed using a pragmatic equivalent because the determining tool is the speech partner. The data after being analyzed, is described using ordinary words so as not to seem rigid. The results of the study found outward code mixing because there was no equivalent word that was suitable in the source language besides that, the terms used were more popular. The use of internal code mixing is because the speech partners come from the same family, where they live close so that communication can be facilitated because they already know each other. In addition, mixed code mixing is determined by the topic of conversation and the level of speech in Balinese. besides that, for humor so as to get closer to the buyer. That is, the use of code mixing is the right of the speech participant in the hope that the message is conveyed properly, so that a relationship can be harmonious. The results of the research are expected to be a basis of reference for students and linguistic researchers in viewing the phenomenon of code mixing as a medium for public speech.
