Konflik Batin Tokoh Utama dalam Web Series Kupu-Kupu Malam Karya Queenb

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the form of inner conflict of the main character in QueenB's webseries Butterfly Night. The research method used in studying the film or web series Butterfly Night by QueenB uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The data in this qualitative research is in the form of narrated text. The data collected is in the form of dialogues in the film or web series, Butterfly of the Night by QueenB, which are related to the inner conflict of the main character, Laura. The source of the data in this study is the web series Butterfly Night by QueenB which will be broadcast in November 2022 which will air on the WeTV platform. The web series Butterfly Night by QueenB has 7 episodes. Data collection techniques used in this research are documentation techniques, observation techniques, note-taking techniques, and library techniques. The results of the study consist of three forms of inner conflict experienced by the main character in QueenB's web series Butterfly Night, namely 1). The conflict between the choices is not in accordance with the wishes, 2). Anxiety in dealing with problems, 3). Expectations do not match reality. The factors behind the emergence of the main character's inner conflict in QueenB's web series Butterfly Night are divided into two, namely external factors and internal factors. External factors are affected by the loss of both parents and younger siblings. While the internal factors that cause inner conflict are fear of oneself and confusion within oneself which causes inner conflict to emerge.
