Performansi Bahasa pada Pengidap Gangguan Fungsi Eksekutif dalam Novel Memory Of Glass Karya Akiyoshi Rikako
Abstract
Language is required by every individual to communicate by other people. However, not all individuals have the opportunity to speak with the good. Some of them have a disorder that can hinder communication. One such disorder experienced by a character in the novel the Memory of Glass written by Akiyoshi Rikako. The character is Kashihara-shi Mayuko, people with Executive Dysfunction. This study aims to outline the performance of the language Mayuko and explain the causes and the symptoms of her, also the treatment that he did. This study uses two approaches, namely, the theoretical approach and the approach metodoogis. Theoretical approaches in the form of psycholinguistic and methodological approach in the form of qualitative descriptive approach. The subject used in this study is the hero in the novel. Collection techniques used in this research is with the engineering documentation. In the analysis of data, use of data analysis with the analysis model of Miles and Huberman In the presentation of the results of the analysis used the method of presentation is informal. The results of this study show of the fifth performance of the language, Mayuko have symptoms of disorders of executive functions such as can't remember it short-term, trouble remembering things long-term, the difficulty of accessing information, as well as difficulty controlling emotions. The cause is Mayuko injury to the brain in the temporal lobe. Mayuko is also trying to fix his memory through the creation of the record of events that have not already occurred.
