Thayf, <em>Burung-Burung Manyar</em> by Y.B. Mangunwijaya, and <em>Para Priyayi</em> by Umar Kayam in reconstructing myths and articulating plural and dynamic cultural identities. The methodology used was a qualitative analysis with a literary discourse approach that emphasised contextual and critical interpretations of the text. The main focus of this research is the patterns of mythopoesis, the narrative function of myths, and the articulation of cultural identity as a result of negotiations between tradition and modernity, local and national, and subaltern and hegemonic. The findings reveal that mythopoesis in the three novels serves as a creative and critical mechanism to affirm and revitalise cultural heritage, while also functioning as a tool for legitimising social-political struggles and criticising modernity and hegemonic state power practices. The cultural identity produced through the process of rewriting myths is not essentialist but plural and constantly evolving in response to dynamic socio-political contexts. These findings reinforce Hall's theory of cultural identity and Homi Bhabha's concept of hybridity, regarding identity as a continuously negotiated construction. The contribution of this research lies in the development of contemporary Indonesian literary studies through an understanding of mythopoesis as a narrative strategy that plays a role in identity formation and social criticism. Kajian dilatarbelakangi oleh peran krusial gaya bahasa dalam membentuk makna, suasana, dan karakterisasi penulisan Andina Dwifatma. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Data primer berupa keseluruhan isi novel <em>Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan</em>, sedangkan data sekunder berdasar dari literatur stilistika. Pengumpulan data melalui pembacaan intensif, penyeleksian kutipan, klasifikasi gaya bahasa berdasarkan teori stilistika Keraf dan Tarigan. Analisis data mengikuti tahapan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa novel ini memanfaatkan gaya bahasa secara estetis dan fungsional. Majas perbandingan, terutama perumpamaan, metafora, dan personifikasi muncul paling dominan dan berperan memperkuat imaji serta nuansa emosional. Majas pertentangan seperti hiperbola dan ironi digunakan untuk menyoroti ketegangan maupun konflik pada bagian awal cerita. Majas pertautan, termasuk metonimia, sinekdoke, alusi, dan eufemisme, berfungsi memperkaya asosiasi makna dan simbolisme. Majas perulangan seperti epizeuksis, anafora, dan asonansi berkontribusi pada penguatan ritme dan tema di beberapa bagian penting narasi. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa Andina Dwifatma mengintegrasikan gaya bahasa sebagai perangkat naratif yang memperkaya struktur cerita, memperdalam karakterisasi, dan memperhalus penyampaian isu sosial serta emosional. Bentuk ekspresi penyair dalam puisi dapat dipahami melalui dua sisi, yaitu (1) bentuk dan (2) isi. Sisi gelap puisi <em>Di Punggung Tahura Murhum </em>berkaitan dengan kegelisahan penyair mengenai kondisi Punggung Tahura Murhum<em>, </em>sebuah pemukinan di kota Kendari yang kondisnya sangat memprihatinkan. Puisi <em>Perawan Gungung </em>mengungkap sisi gelap kehidupan sebagian perempuan di Kota kendadri. The background of this research lies in the importance of preserving local culture through contextual and culturally relevant English learning. The ethnolinguistic approach is employed to identify and analyze how local cultural elements are represented in reading texts, including linguistic features, symbolic meanings, and socio-cultural representations. This research applies a case study method with qualitative descriptive analysis on the 9th-grade junior high school English textbook. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed by classifying emerging cultural values such as local wisdom, traditions, arts, and social practices. The results indicate that the textbook contains various local cultural values, including mutual cooperation, politeness, diversity, and heritage preservation; however, their integration remains partial and needs further reinforcement in the context of globalization. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach with listening and note-taking techniques, with content analysis of 37 speech data from monologue videos. The results showed that code mixing was the most dominant form, with 24 data, compared to code switching with 13 data. The most common causal factors were bilingualism habits and conversation topics. This phenomenon reflects the communication style of the younger generation in the digital era, which is flexible, expressive, and reflects a multilingual identity. Fokus penelitian ini mengenai bentuk, fungsi, dan arti dari <em>kecap panganteur</em>. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Pemerolehan data menggunakan teknik telaah pustaka/studi Pustaka, yaitu menelaah, mendalami, mencatat dan mengidentifikasi bahan bacaan yang akan diteliti. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat lima bentuk <em>kecap panganteur</em>, diantaranya: 1) <em>kecap panganteur sandirasa</em>, 2) <em>kecap panganteur sandisora</em>, 3) <em>kecap panganteur sandinétra</em>, 4) <em>kecap panganteur sandikanta</em>, dan 5) <em>kecap panganteur sandikarya</em>. Hasil dari analisis fungsi ditemukan terdapat tiga fungsi kecap panganteur, diantaranya yaitu: 1) fungsi mengantarkan kata kerja/<em>verba</em>, 2) fungsi mengantarkan kata sipat/<em>adjektiva</em>, dan 3) fungsi menggantikan kata kerja/<em>verba</em>. Hasil dari analisis arti <em>kecap panganteur </em>ditemukan ada 174 data, yang terbagi jadi lima bentuk, diantarana: 1) arti bentuk <em>kecap panganteur sandirasa</em>, 2) arti bentuk <em>kecap panganteur sandisora</em>, 3) arti bentuk <em>kecap panganteur sandinétra</em>, 4) arti bentuk <em>kecap panganteur sandikanta</em>, dan 5) arti bentuk <em>kecap panganteur sandikarya</em>. The primary object is Satire and Contradiction, and the secondary object to complement this study is Character. The purpose of this research is to find out what Figurative Language is found in sentences so that the hidden meaning in the sentence can be dissected. The researcher uses a descriptive qualitative method, with adopted two techniques in the theory of Molina and Albir (2002) on the translation of satire meaning and Nina Noorgard (2011) on multimodal stylistics – the happy marriage of stylistics and semiotics, linguistic compression techniques are used in answered the first research question, and semiotic analysis is used to answer the second research question. This is a qualitative and descriptive study using a sociolinguistic approach. The data source for this study is the speech of characters in the film La Hila Donggo by Ary Ipan on the YouTube channel Medicana Studio. The research data consists of the speech of characters that describe the forms and functions of speech acts. The data collection technique used in this study is observation and note-taking. Furthermore, the data analysis technique uses the specific element sorting technique (PUP), where the data obtained will be grouped and analyzed based on the selected theory. The results of the study concluded that (1) four forms of fatis were found, namely fatis particles, fatis words, fatis phrases, and combined fatis forms, with 24 forms of fatis particles, 5 forms of fatis words, 4 forms of fatis phrases, and 3 forms of combined fatis. This research design uses a quasi experimental method within the framework of a quantitative approach by involving two groups, namely the treatment class and the comparison class. In the treatment class, the storytelling method using hand puppets was applied, while the comparison class learnt using audiovisual media. Analysis of the results confirmed that there was a real effect of using the storytelling method assisted by hand puppets on students' narrative writing ability. This fact is reflected in the higher mean score in the treatment class, which is </em>10,80<em>, compared to the comparison class which reached a mean of </em>10,04<em>. In addition, the t-test results showed a </em>Sig. (2-tailed)<em> of </em>0,037 ≤ 0,05<em>. This research aims to categorize the types and meanings of compounds formed with “EL” by analyzing data through the framework of morphological theory by Katamba and Plag. Qualitative descriptive methodology, which Creswell defines, is applied in this research to analyze language utilization within the social media setting. 10 data samples were analyzed based on the presence of “EL” as a compound part. The results indicate that 6 data are Exocentric compounds (60%), and 4 data are Endocentric compounds (40%), with no data of Copulative compounds identified (0%). Regarding the meanings, 4 data are Transparent meaning (40%), while 6 data are non-transparent meaning (60%), indicating that the interpretation does not always rely on contextual or cultural knowledge. Ultimately, this research demonstrates how social media users create meaning and identity through morphological creativity, especially on X. The theory used in this research is the theory stated by Austin and further developed by Searle to identify the types of illocutionary speech acts and to identify the functions of illocutionary speech acts. This study analyzes 6 data points from YouTube comments about Will Smith's 2022 Oscar speech. The research shows that: 2 Assertives, 1 Commissives, 1 Expressives, 1 Directives, and 1 Declaration types and functions of illocutionary acts. Additionally, this research identifies 4 types of hate speech in the form of insults, 1 type of unpleasant action, and 1 type of provocation. These findings help reveal how hate speech is constructed linguistically and how illocutionary acts contribute to shaping negative narratives online. The method used is qualitative descriptive, employing a literature review and classroom-based learning design approach. The results of the study show that integrating local history into drama learning encourages students to think critically, express ideas creatively, and understand local cultural values. The learning syntax is developed through the stages of experiencing, conceptualizing, analyzing, producing, networking, applying, comparing, and synthesizing. Analisis data menekankan pemahaman fungsi-fungsi fitur ini dalam dialog. Dalam sastra, nilai ini penting karena karya sastra tidak hanya menyampaikan cerita, tetapi juga membangun kesadaran moral pembacanya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai humanisasi dalam novel <em>172 Days</em> karya Nadzira Shafa. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data berupa novel <em>172 Days</em> karya Nadzira Shafa. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik baca dan catat terhadap bagian teks yang mengandung nilai humanisasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis isi <em>(content analysis)</em> untuk mengidentifikasi dan menginterpretasikan bentuk-bentuk humanisasi berdasarkan teori yang relevan. Keabsahan data diperkuat melalui triangulasi teori dan ketekunan membaca agar interpretasi tetap akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 57 data nilai humanisasi, terdiri atas 18 nilai mengajak pada kebaikan, 14 nilai menjaga persaudaraan, dan 25 nilai menghormati orang lain.
