Peningkatan Peran Kelompok PKK Wanita dalam Rangka Mewujudkan Ketahanan Pangan Melalui Urban Farming

Abstract

Agricultural activities in urban areas are limited by the availability of land. However, the need for food continues to increase along with the increase in population. So we need an effort for urban communities to be able to meet their needs. These efforts can be started in the family environment. Women in the family play an important role in the availability of food ingredients that are able to meet the family's intake. Counseling was given in Kalijudan and Jagir Sub-Districts. The two PKK Women groups have different attitudes in dealing with urban faming. There are groups in the Kalijudan Village that have implemented it, but do not yet have a specific plan. Whereas in the Jagir Village, in general, they have never carried out urban farming activities. Both of these groups need support from various parties, such as the government and academia to be able to achieve the goal of food security and family welfare.
