Konflik Keluarga dalam Cerpen Ayah, “Ibu Ku Mohon” Karya Dewi Muda Makin

Abstract

The problem studied in this study is the family conflict contained in the short story Ayah, Ibu Ku Please by Dewi Muda Makin. The purpose of this research is to find and describe the conflicts contained in the short story Ayah, Ibu Ku Please by Dewi Muda Makin. The research approach is a qualitative approach with the research method used is the reading and note-taking method. The theory used is the theory of literary psychology related to character conflicts. The results of this study indicate that there are two types of conflicts, namely (1) Father-Mother Conflict (KAI), and (2) Father-Son Conflict (KAAn). Father-Mother Conflict (KAI) is a conflict that occurs between father and mother. This type of conflict occurs in the form of speech or verbal speech. Father-Son conflict is a conflict that occurs between a father and five children, especially those that are clearly mentioned in the short story, namely Aku, Mira, and Edy. Child–Child Conflict is a conflict that occurs between children.
