Pengaruh Pemberian Edukasi Gizi dan Stunting Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu dan Penentuan Status Gizi Murid Paud Az-Zahra

Abstract

 

Abstract: : Stunting is the most common form of malnutrition. Stunting contributes to low birth weight, stunted cognitive development, and decreased academic achievement. The purpose of the Community Service is to determine the nutritional status of 37 students of PAUD Az-Zahra and to analyze the effect of providing nutrition and stunting education to 25 parents of students. The method uses measuring the height and weight of students and providing counseling to parents of students. Quasi-experimental design with one group pre-posttest design. The results of the pretest and posttest were tested using the Wilcoxon test (α = 0.05). The results of the community service show that most students have good nutritional status. There is a significant difference between the pretest scores (70 (50-90)) and post-test (90 (50-90)) at the median (minimum-maximum) with a p value = 0.000. The conclusion is that students have good nutritional status and nutrition education can improve parents' knowledge.
